The second edition of the Sharjah-Europe Business Women Forum will commence on Tuesday in Brussels, bringing together 500 participants from across the globe, including an esteemed group of businesswomen from both the UAE and European nations.

Organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the European Women’s Association, the forum will showcase key officials, diplomats, and representatives from various Sharjah government agencies, including the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), the Sharjah Business Women Council (SBWC), and the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA).

The agenda will feature panel discussions and business meetings, all aimed at promoting women’s empowerment through the exploration of leading trends in emerging economic sectors, grounded in essential skills required for driving business growth and expanding market access for their ventures.

The forum will highlight the unique economic advantages of Sharjah, such as its appealing investment climate, strategic location, and advanced infrastructure and legal framework, thereby promoting attractive investment opportunities and incentives for businesswomen and startups eager to enter Middle Eastern markets and encouraging them to establish their businesses and ventures in the emirate.

Sara Belhaif Al Nuaimi, CEO of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), emphasized the strategic value of the Sharjah-Europe Business Women Forum in fostering knowledge exchange and building cooperation bridges for businesswomen and entrepreneurs in the emirate with their counterparts in Europe.

“This forum resonates with Sheraa’s fundamental mission to empower entrepreneurs and facilitate the flow of innovation and growth. We are dedicated to strengthening connections between Sharjah and Belgium, addressing global challenges related to women’s business financing, and uncovering new investment opportunities in promising economic sectors,” she stated.

Sheraa will continue to reinforce its commitment to establishing Sharjah as a prominent hub for innovation and sustainable growth, aligning with the vision of the UAE and the directives of its leadership by providing access to world-class resources and markets for women-led startups.
